Looking for cute outfits for your baby boy for the 4th of July? As we like to say, little girls may get bows, but our little boys get bow ties! And boy, are they cute!

There are more combinations of red, white, and blue ties and suspenders than you might think.  We get so excited putting together ideas sometimes we forget it might seem a little overwhelming to pick out something for your newborn boy for his 1st 4th of July when there are so many choices!

Here are some of our favorite 4th of July outfits, along with customer photos of dapper baby and toddler boys wearing them.

1. Stars and Stripes

The stars and stripes outfit is a classic 4th of July outfit for a boy.

 It's our best-seller every year - just perfect for a parade or whatever festivities you have planned. I mean, look at all these cute faces! 

Although the stars necktie is the favorite, the flag tie has a lot of mini fans, too.

2. The Stars Cardigan

Over the years, we've done a few different cardigans, including this red stripe...

Awwww!  And this blue stripe....

Awwww! But for 2017, this stars print is our brand new cardigan onesie!

Awwww!  It looks cute with pretty much any of the red bow ties.

And we decided to add a toddler cardigan to match itthis year too!

3. The Knit Set

Leggings are so trendy for baby boys right now. We were afraid they might be a little warm on the 4th of July, so we made a shorts version for this outfit.  It matches the stars bowtie so cutely!

4. Pinterest Favorite

We call this newborn boy 4th of July outfit the "Pinterest favorite" because this precious customer's pic has made it a star. (Sold out, check out more 4th of July outfit ideas here!)

The outfit has striped suspenders and a dark red dot bowtie, but you can also pick one of our other popular bow ties if you choose. This is the flag bow:

5. Vintage Patriotic

The vintage outfits are actually my favorite.  I can't get enough of these homespun fabrics and I can just see a little guy marching in a 4th of July parade singing Yankee Doodle while wearing this.

6. Ginghams, ginghams, and more ginghams!

We have red gingham, navy gingham, and red/white/navy gingham!

You can't go wrong with a classic check in shades of red and blue.  But which combination will you choose? You can always get an extra tie if you can't decide!

7. Chevron and Stars

This outfit has a patriotic chevron tie with some fun stars! The gold glitter stars make this outfit shine.

8. Fireworks

Who says baby boy only needs one 4th of July outfit? You can always dress him in one thing for the parade, another for the picnic, and then put on this outfit when it's time for fireworks.

This one looks cute as a bowtie too.

9. My 1st 4th of July Keepsake Tie

If you've got a brand newborn baby boy, this dapper little outfit features a snap off keepsake tie.  You don't have to save the onesie he spit up and drooled all over in your memory box, just save the cute tie alongside your pictures.

10. Born on the 4th of July

Is your baby boy celebrating his 1st or 2nd birthday on the 4th of July?! Then he definitely needs something extra special - patriotic AND cake smash worthy.  

And remember, all of our outfits have snap off ties.  So if you already have a onesie or tshirt all you need is an extra tie.  Or if you can't decide you can get him 1 shirt and pick out a few ties to swap for different events.
